“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will,
and it shall be done unto you.”
(John 15:7)

  1. Pray that our congregation would deeply love the Word of God and demonstrate it in their sacrificial efforts to listen to it on Sundays and study it daily on their own.

Psalm 119:14-16: “I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches. I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.”

  2. Pray that our congregation would prayerfully depend on God in all things while thanking Him for all things, no matter what.

Philippians 4:6: “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

  3. Pray that our congregation would value spiritual values more than American ideals.

I Timothy 6:11-12: “But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”

  4. Pray that our congregation would say no to worldly entertainments and strive to think purely in all things.

Ephesians 5:15-17: “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.”

  5. Pray for the husbands in our congregation to lovingly lead their wives and for wives to humbly submit to the leadership of their husbands.

Ephesians 6:33: “Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.”

  6. Pray for our congregation to experience consistent spiritual victory in the midst of the constant spiritual warfare.

Ephesians 6:10-12: “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

  7. Pray for our congregation to remain faithful and steadfast to the Lord through the strength and power of God.

    Ephesians 6:10-12

  8. Pray for our congregation to endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit, despite our differences of opinion, conviction, and personal preferences.

Ephesians 4:1-3: “I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”

  9. Pray that we would purposely rejoice in the Lord in all things while finding the joy of the Lord to be our strength.

Philippians 4:4: “Rejoice in the Lord alway and again I say, rejoice.” Nehemiah 8:10 “…for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

  10. Pray for God to be glorified through the provision, protection, and preservation of His church, Faith Baptist Church of Folsom.

Ephesians 3:21: “Unto Him be glory in the church by Jesus Christ throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”
